Applications ProtectGuard FCF® is a highly effective oil and water repellant treatment exclusively designed for fresh concrete, providing high grade protection against soiling, staining and graffiti. The product is designed to be used on fresh concrete during laying or mixing, thus can be used with equal effectiveness in on-site mixing environments and in industrial pre-cast concrete environments. Due to its matt colourless finish no changes to the appearance or colour of the original material occur. The alkilinity of fresh concrete calls for a molecule tough enough to withstand the effects of the high pH values of over 12 occurring in normal circumstances. ProtectGuard Fresh Concrete Formula is chemically structured to provide exceptional protection in these harsh environments.
