ProtectGuard® gives long-lasting weathering and graffiti protection for porous surfaces such as concrete, brickwork, roofs and stonework. ProtectGuard prevents the ingress of water and does away with the harmful effects of damp and frost as well as preventing the growth of moss and fungi. Its oil-resistant properties allow it to resist greasy soiling and the deposits caused by atmospheric pollution. Any material given early protection will retain its 'as new' appearance, whilst older structures will stay neat and clean for much longer. Treatment with ProtectGuard protects all porous surfaces likely to be graffitied and resists the penetration of the ink and paint pigments. A medium pressure wash is usually sufficient to remove light graffiti. ProtectGuard treatment is also recommended for the protection of pavement in pedestrian zones, sidewalks, service stations, etc. Greasy dirt no longer sticks to surfaces, and nor does chewing gum. They may be easily removed.
