Decap-Sols-Guard and Decap-Sols-Plus-Guard can both be employed to remove gum. Using these products at 13 pH and 0.7 pH respectively, and monitoring the pH of the wash water, it is possible to ensure gum cleaning work does not cause harmful waste water to enter drains and rivers. Without this control, there is a risk of river water pollution resulting in the destruction of animals and natural habitats. To make pavement resistant to further gum deposits, Protect-Guard can be applied to seal the surface.
