Epicuro Permbloc

Epicuro Permbloc is a unique water-based, crystallising moisture blocker, specifically formulated for permanently drying concrete and masonry affected by water ingress. It is effective against water transmission rates of up to 70 g/m2 (24 hr) in concrete.

  • Apply using spray, roller, or brush to clean, bare surfaces free of paint, sealers, oils, adhesives, or other barriers.
  • Clean thoroughly by scrubbing or pressure washing to remove dust and contaminants.
  • Surface condition: May be damp, but no standing water or puddles.
  • First coat: Apply at 5 m²/litre, keep surface wet for 30 minutes.
  • Second coat: After 1–2 hours drying, apply at 10 m²/litre, again keeping wet for 30 minutes.
  • Third coat (if needed): For severe damp, apply at 5 m²/litre and allow to dry.
  • Aftercare: Wait 1 week before applying compatible coatings. Brush off any white crystallisation before coating.
